Aidan feels bad that he might have hurt Kayla while they had sex in the woods, but Kayla assures him that she enjoyed herself. Kayla gets dressed, and they stand in the sun for a moment. They return to Aidan’s apartment, where Kayla showers, and Aidan bandages Kayla’s scrapes from the forest floor. Kayla spends the night, they have sex the next morning, and Kayla returns home. When Aidan retreats to his mind, she does not push him.

At her home, Kayla finds Fiona in Michael’s office, and she says she thought she told Fiona not to clean Michael’s things. Fiona says she does not remember, and Kayla admits that she also cannot remember telling Fiona specific instructions. Kayla tells Fiona that she no longer wants to contact Fiona’s sister, the medium, about communicating with the ghosts. Instead, she is going to talk to a therapist. Fiona is dejected, but she respects Kayla’s decision. When Fiona leaves, Kayla finds a newspaper on Michael’s desk with an article about his drowning. Kayla did not put the newspaper there, and she doubts Fiona would leave something around that might upset Kayla.
